HERE Many of these tasks are too much for
one person, consider asking your family, friends, or organization to
help or take on the task. We've had several youth groups do a
car wash for us, with GREAT SUCCESS! If
you are willing to organize the event, we have a list of volunteers
that are willing to help with the actual event.
Join
our Carpenters Club, with minimum dues of $35.00 or more each time we
complete a house. We have different levels of participation on a monthly
basis, $25, $35, $50, $100, or more. When we have 1000 members in the
Carpenters Club we will then be able to pay for the materials for the
next one. You may request enrollment forms or information at email@nomoreshacks.org
or call our office at (301)392-0770.
If you or someone you know is in need of decent
affordable housing, please call our office to get on our mailing list
for family orientation meetings. As we are currently committed to
getting four selected families into their houses. Please be aware that
this is program, which involves a Christian partnership, is addressing
long term solutions to your housing needs. [Note: we have
currently selected families for the planned builds for this year.]
